“Of Magic And Pink Hills,” a tribute to the work of Georgia O’Keeffe, won a first place blue ribbon at this year’s South Cobb Arts Alliance (Metro Atlanta) “World of Art” juried exhibition. The 36” x 24” painting includes her often-painted pink hills near her Abiquiu and Ghost Ranch homes in New Mexico after Goettee’s visit and photography of the area and a tour of her Abiquiu residence. She often wore black and the belt shown here was hers, worn in several photographs by different photographers. Photo by Michael Vaccaro
